Speaking strictly, you don't think. Thinking happens to you, unless you focus it.

It is a startling and unsettling discovery when you realize this truth. All of the sudden you will catch yourself not actually in control of your thoughts. We think that's what the 'crazy' people suffer from.  Then you realize that you fit your own description of 'them'. You catch your thoughts randomly jumping, often repetitive and rarely reaching any measure of conclusion. That's the bad news. The good news is that you can interject this process the instant you care enough to. Enjoy the rewards of focus.
