There is much to be said about not speeding your life up to its maximum possible speed. Though you are doing things that you think may bring you happiness, not having time to reflect on that contentment will actually cause a decrease in happiness. Contentment occurs in the space between things, inbetween objectives, and inbetween projected thoughts about the future.
