When someone sees the same people everyday, they become part of the person's life; and then they want the person to change.

When we know someone from a distance we usually marvel at their unique set of skills that set themselves apart from other people we know.  We praise their qualities we notice and like in them and that's about all there is to the relationship. Once that person rises above a certain threshold of familiarity, all the sudden heaps of external expectations are placed on them. Be cognizant of this social irrationality and remain in the space of appreciating any whatever thing they bring to your life. You, and they, will experience a happier existence.
